Genevieve marble, is an oolitic limestone (or "marble") found in Sainte Genevieve County, Missouri.〔Goodrich, p. 33.〕 It is part of the Archimedes Limestone formation.〔Swallow, p. 96.〕 It generally comes in two different types.
